So, ten days left in Tampa, then back to shitty York to grind out the last 6 months of my army service. Six months in the States went fucking quick.
In the next ten days, i’ve got Coldplay on Sunday, Marilyn Manson (maybe) on Monday, and then going through the next week with my replacement and doing my handover/takeover, which is mostly going to consist of the best...

Google Wave - First Impressions →
Great blog here from Ben Rometsc at the Solid State Group. Personally i’m very excited about Google Wave, and I wish I could somehow blag a look at it as it’s being developed, but alas, I suspect that’s impossible.

Ok, so I’ve been out in Tampa for 4 months now, having not seen my wife, child, or any of my friends (bar those I work with), for the whole of that time. My wife and son are now out here for 2 weeks, and are both laid up with some sort of stomach bug. The emoticon “:(” cannot display the magnitude of my sad-face.
