The legend that is Mark Lanegan
So, I’ve been into Mark Lanegan for a long time, but occasionally I forget how epic he truly is and lose touch with what he’s been releasing, etc. This has recently happened, and when last.fm shunted a track by a Lanegan collaboration with the dude from the Afghan Whigs into my consciousness I was pointed back into the direction of his discography.

It's all good though. As a bona fide rock lord, all lesser mewling mortals will pander to his pure win trends, or take a brick-shaped-fist to the dome.
Me: I think that's the nicest thing anyone's ever said about me, up there with retelling the story of how I chokeslammed a dude through a table without even knowing he was trying to gank me (Spidersense ftw)...

Google Wave - First Impressions →
Great blog here from Ben Rometsc at the Solid State Group. Personally i’m very excited about Google Wave, and I wish I could somehow blag a look at it as it’s being developed, but alas, I suspect that’s impossible.
Ben, however, has a developer preview account and has given 1st impressions here. Wave sounds about as exciting as I have built it up to be in my head.
